This memorial is for my dear mum who passed away at the age of 63.
My mum could so often be such a wonderful person, who had a loving family and many friends. However,
this was tarnished by alcoholism. It is really sad to have to remember a person so close to you with
such negativeness but I want it to be also a warning to those people out there who have the same
problem.
My mum learnt only too late what the effects of alcohol have on a person and I would not wish it on
anybody. Mum could have been alive and well today had she only had the courage and willpower to stop
drinking. She has missed out on so much and she could have had some lovely years with her new
grandchildren. She actually did get to see her eldest grandaughter whom she loved to bits but by the
time she realised that she had this wonderful new little person to love, it was too late and she
only had two short years with her.
Mum died in the most horrific, painful way, all because of alcohol. Even doctors and nurses had to
admit that the type of end my mum encountered was horrible. I'm sure mum would have done
anything to turn the clock back in those last couple of months and we have been left with a lot of
regrets and if only's.
Please, if you have or if you know anybody who has a drink addiction, don't let it devastate a
life like it did for my mum. Try to get the help that is out there.

God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;

I will never forget that night you got all dressed up and went to the night club with Tracey it was christmas lol would not have known but saw all the cards on the photo i have put in.god you was such fun Audrey when you wasnt pissed. Then you could just turn but never realy on me just poor Tracey.but sure Tracys forgives you .We had some great laughts .Remember when we went to the swimming baths and you could just stand in deep end with your feet of the bottom and not go under you said to me cant you do it .bloody hell Audrey i tried almost drowned.you see Audrey you had a built in dingy your belly lol. I know you will be saying now you bloody wait lol but you could always take a joke Audrey never took offence .Dear god what i would do just to have you back i realy miss you Audrey .But always think of all the good times we spent together .goodnight god bless Audrey all my love Anne xxxx

thank you anne for your kind words audrey sounds a lot like my mom so i know they would have got on well on earth and in heaven.lets hope they both behaving them selfs as my mom could be a handful when she wanted to be .

Your mother is forever with you, she is in the part of your mind where she will never die. This Mother’s Day rejoice and smile. Your Mother gave you life and with that life she taught you many things, but one thing she may not have taught you was how to say goodbye when her time would come to leave this earth. Death it is just the passage through a door. It is from one room until the next, from this life into eternal life. Right there through the clouds is where your mother is, she is in the beauty of roses that bloom.
Remember your mother this Mother’s Day, mourn in her death, but rejoice in her rebirth.

Was just looking at some photos Audrey when tracy got you all made up and took you to a night club had to laugh.we had some great times together Audrey.used to love coming down to your house to have a good natter .will never forget them great times just wish you was still here will never forget you Audrey .god bless xxxxx

well audrey we did have many years of fun together sat there bloody smoking and yapping away.audrey was my friend from when tracey and my daughter lynda was born they where brought up together and still friends after all these years.audrey was a very good friend to me but also she could loose her rag lol.i will never forget when you passed away audrey just tracey and me with you.but i will always remember you audrey god bless rip xxxx
